I am currently taking apart my 1FZ and I noticed that the stamping on the block does not match with the vin on the body. Are they supposed to match or is it just an American car thing?

I installed OEM freeze plugs (96411-45000) in my f engine and they don’t set in all the way. This doesn’t look right, but they won’t go in any further. I did put a light coating of permatex pipe dope on the hole lips, but that shouldn’t be the problem if there is one. Any ideas? Thank you! Mike
