So I want to mount some onboard air in my engine bay. I plan to remove the carb cooling fan and use the 4 unused bolts in the pic. Couple questions:
1. To remove the fan there is one bolt under the mechanism that helps the hood raise up. Any tips on removal...seems like I would be unbolting...

Looking for a decent crankshaft. Going to be getting machined so condition not a concern as long as it hasn’t spun a bearing too bad and isn’t super rusty on seal surface.

I'm just wondering what RPM are you getting when at highway speed like 120 kmh? My 73 with 285/75 tires is almost at 3K RPM. From there it feels like the engine likes to be on that range. I can pull and keep up with traffic easily and its happy to go 140 kmh/3300 rpm.
