Ive heard it mentioned and I do not dig my ABS,And want to know if it is possible to remove the ABS system without Effing up the brakes, this truck needs brakes, not ABS. is it possible and will it effect my yearly inspection, etc.

So my 2000 LC often makes a noise when I first crank up, sounds like the pump under the dash struggling to pressurize. I've been told that is for the ABS but my brakes work fine. Sounds like an expensive fix so my question is what are my options? Any help is appreciated!

I have read many threads about deleting the ABS and am preparing myself to do it. HOWEVER, I am not really wanting to delete the LSPV. Every thread ive read removes both. Can the ABS be removed without deleting the LSPV?
