After extensive squirrel damage to under hood harness and subsequent removal and re installation of the OEM spec re manufactured harness the truck runs, ABS system (damaged by shorted wires) works as intended, front AC blows cold and runs correctly, the only issues presenting are rear AC not working and radio has no power.

Rear AC controls are switched on but do not light up and front control for rear AC on dash by front AC controls does not light when switched on.

Fuses for appropriate circuits show good.

The harness that was removed and re manufactured runs inside both fender wells and across the firewall in engine room through fire wall on both sides to foot wells on both passenger and drivers side. Dash and AC blower, radio, AC ontrol panel as well as instrument cluster had to removed as well.

There are several connectors/plugs that are probably used on LX470 but not on this truck so although those plugs appear to be unique (will not mate up with wrong connector, I did find one that would plug in where it did not belong. Figuring out which of the unused connectors are to remain unused has been time consuming to say the least.

We have the factory wiring diagram, but sorting thought these issues has been challenging.

Before you ask, insurance companies would rather total the truck than fix it. If the $2000 OEM harness had been available (discontinued) Toyota dealer wanted $1500 labor to r&r harness. Progressive Insurance demanded that all circuits affected be specifically identified in advance and if any involved air bags they would total the truck.

After we finished reinstalling the harness and the truck started and ran, the ABS system was in failure. Having just finished dealing with ABS failure and repair before the squirrels (brushes in the accumulator motor) we found that shorted wires ruined the ABS controller on the side of the Master cylinder. Had the truck been left at the dealer, the Master Cylinder would have been $4500 plus labor. Guaranteed total by Progressive.

Props to Aeromotive for the great work on the harness. Less than $600 and the harness is beautiful. Further props to Cruiser Parts for the Master cylinder controller (used) Less than $400.

If someone knows of an insurance company that understands the value of our trucks when we have a claim and presumably has had a good experience, please mention them.

We are thrilled to be this far along, but could use any help offered.
