For the Swine faithful,

I've discovered that the body mount under the driver's feet is off somehow, looks like it was redone without the proper washers and I can actually jerk the bottom of the bolt around. I believe this is the source of my unidentified clunking.

So I need to access the TOP of this body mount to see what's up but can't for the life of me figure out how to? Do I need to cut a hole in the floor (there are a lot of floor patches so this wouldn't be the worst thing) or is there an access panel somewhere?

Anyone know?

Many thanks,
Dave

Welcome. If the bolt is rattling around you might just need to tighten her up. The rubber body mount bushings are pretty stout and shouldn't have deteriorated to the point that they are missing from what I've seen on my Pig.

There are 2 metal V-shaped supports that center the bolt inside the un-accessible  body mounts. If your holes at the top or bottom have egged & the supports have rusted away, that could be the cause. I have a pic somewhere in my build thread about what the old one's look like & how I rebuilt mine to be accessible ;p
