I am selling my rebuilt, turbo-ed 3B.

New rebuild kit, head magnafluxed and decked, new pre-cups, new injectors, new seals and bearings.

Can be heard running, and it sounds sweet.

Compression is 425-430 psi across the board.

Turbo is a Garrett T3 off of a Lebaron mounted to a 13B-T manifold.

Truck is 12 volt.

Engine can be seen and heard running here:

$4000 for the engine.

I spent $3200 on the rebuild, and $1200 on the turbo, so I think the price is pretty fair.

I have a BJ74 now. The body of the 70 was pretty bad, and it was never going to be straight, rust free, or leak free.

Over the years I spent all of my efforts redoing the mechanical because the cosmetic was a lost cause.

Would a 3bt be enough power for a troopy? My troopy started out life with a 2h, but somewhere along the way it was converted to a 2f. I'd love to get a diesel back in it, I just don't know anything about them.

Would you consider crating the engine/H55/transfer and shipping to the U.S.? I'm looking a for a diesel powerplant to put in my fj60. This looks like exactly what I'm looking for! I'm in Colorado and I'm sure I could arrange the shipping. Anyones thoughts or recommendations welcome.

I'd say the troopy is roughly the same weight as a 60 series, which were greatly underpowered and happily benefited from a turbo (I've driven a couple).

Great... all I need is the turbo and manifold

Can we work out a broken pruchase?
