The Good:

New OEM Radiator Cap
New OEM Thermostat w/ Gaskets
Flushed/refilled cooling system with Toyota Red
New Water Pump
New OEM Vacuum hoses
Fresh Tune-Up using all OEM parts (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air filter)
Oil Changed every 3 months with Castrol 20W50 and Toyota Oil Filter
Transmission/Transfer Case, Differentials all have fresh oil

The bad:
Carpet has some stains
Both front seats have some tears/stains
A/C has an O-ring leak (easily fixed)
May need new brakes soon (pads)
99%rust free (don't know if that's good or bad :flipoff2: )
Spot of rust on passenger side Rain Gutter..

Other than that, the truck drives really well. It's a lot of fun! I have driven it everywhere. A couple of weeks ago, I took it all the way to Palmdale in 100F + with A/C on (it was working then :confused:) and never did it complain or overheat. 4WD works as it should and it's pretty much a decent Land Cruiser.

I bought it planning on giving it a minor restoration... I just can't find the time/money to continue...

I am pretty close, just south a little in Carlsbad. What kind of condition is the transmission in? Does th body have any bad rust? Let me know. MAybe we can work out a deal.

Hey Aaron,

The gearbox shifts well. Never pops out of gear. No grinding, not even into Reverse. Same with the Transfer Case. It shifts into 4H and 4L without a problem.

Honestly, the only rust on the truck is that spot on the gutter. Maybe because it's near the beach, it has gotten that rust spot. The frame is very clean.

what's the mileage? is the frame/suspension good? and, what's the engine compartment look like? i am no where near you but could come out "on business" (fly out) and drive back!

seriously, some more mechanically oriented pictures (engine/trans/undercarriage) would be cool.
 
I'll take more pictures this weekend.

mileage is now at 227k miles. (it's my daily driver, and only car)
Frame is 100% rust free and straight.
Suspension is saggy but not bad at all, see post #3
It handles well and steers straight.
