Due to a lack of local Toyota events and a large number of local Toyotas, I am working with the Cliffs to organize this event. There will be all levels of wheeling. Last weekend we had a run and two Land Rover LR3's showed up and they had a blast on the lighter trails. Or you can run the type of carnage happy trails that the cliffs have come to be known for.

This will be open to ALL Toyota 4x4's (mini's, cruisers,fjc's...) But of course anyone who wants to wheel is welcome.

We will meet in the Cliffs parking lot at 8:30 on saturday morning.

There will be raffles for the following (as of now, It will hopefully grow)
-A warn M8000
-Maybe some other small goodies

The Toyota FJCruiser Trail Team may attend (dont know yet)
Adam from 4xinnovations may also attend and show off some of his tube products

CAMPING

Camping at the Cliffs, in the park, $10 per site/rig, no hook up.

There is camping at whispering pines (new owners will be changing name to 4 Star). The campgrounds are directly behind the cliffs.

RATES:

PRIMITIVE: $20/night
ELECTRIC HOOK UP: $29/night
FULL HOOK UP (RVS ETC.): $30/night
There is a Shower House

hhhmmm....sounds like a fun one, hopefully one of the Teams get's scheduled!

may have to have a couple folks drag my rigs down too ;)

I might have to mark this one on my calendar. Sounds fun.

I'm planning on coming, if my schedule allows. Hopefully both nights. Hopefully going to bring my princess. It will be her first wheeling trip.
Hope to see ya'll there

Looks like all 3 Trail Teams are booked that weekend....now if it was the 22nd, the East team would be open...but ah well....

However, I may be on my vacation during that time and would drag down the 40 for a few days....have to see if I can pull that off!!

NOOOOO

What othere toyota event is going on in the midwest that the the central team cant make this:rolleyes:

all three are MtBike events that Toyota sponsors....none are cancel-able...

and why would you want the Central team? I'm East Coast! lol

Because you make me follow your 40 and by all means I shouldnt be following that 40.

Plus dont you come with the central team anyway:D

If you bring your 40 what tires will you bring? Im seriously contemplating some Rockers for my next tire.

only set of tires I own right now are the Rockers....the Iroks sold this fall

If I AM on vacation for this one and end up with the 40, I'll see what I can do to schmoooooze up a little swag ;)

Might be in. Will put it on the planner and see if it is possible. If I am in, so is the rv. Who is camping?

Down to 5!
Not done yet, but done for now.

I need to make a space for one more and I am golden. But thinking I might store the 930, just need to find a good spot for it. The car looks kind of funny uncovered in the garage next to the 40 that has a nice cloth cover on it. I think the picture says it all in my book.

I am hoping to make the Cliffs. At least for a day trip. Might be nice to run some gas through the lonely red one.

Is this a 2 day event? If so, I can attend on Sunday only. Is this possible?

Also, my off road so far is limited to my mountain bike, are there some beginner trails?

B.

yes its a 2-day

Yes there are easy trails, that you will have no problem on with an fzj80. (unless you mean the mountain bike:grinpimp:)

Most likley I could do harder trails on my MTB.

Count me in for the 29th.

UPDATE

I think there will be 25 rigs strong and as many as 35, and the boards havent really picked up steam yet.

A land cruiser club from MI is coming down.

Theres some more stuff for the raffle.

As soon as I get my beadlocks fixed I will go down to the cliffs and scout out some fun intermediate trails with Joe and/or Tom and my GPS. (I know where the easy and hard trails are but the middle trails are kinda hidden:think:)

Any who this looks like it could be a monster event (probably the biggest toyota event in the midwest, I think) and its still 1 1/2 months out.

So I figured a little update was in order.

UPDATE

The cliffs talked to the campgrounds and they will lower their price to $20/night for primitive.

Awesome I was just talking to gumby about how much fun I had you guys last year at hoosier hodown.
