Holy hy-steer

My steering has been a bit odd lately. It tracked when I would brake hard. Plus a little wander while cruising. And it just didn't feel as tight as when I first put it on.
At first glance I didn't find anything wrong. Got a wheel off and looked a little closer and 2 of the 4 bolts that hold in the arm on the driver side broke off. I took it to my friends shop this morning. If he can't get to it this weekend I'll go over on monday and fix it. Hopefully there will be enough bolt left to get some vice grips on(drilling sucks).

That would have fxxxing sucked if the last 2 bolts broke while I was driving.

are you running cone washers with the hy-steer.

thats a pretty common thang with hi-steer, just hafta check and retorque them often for a while, then eventually they stay tight.
i made up a checklist of things, including those bolts, that i check after every trail run while i am airing up.
