91-94 FJ80/FZJ80 grab bar, grey (or is it blue? I cannot tell, but this is supposed to match the blue interior of my '92). Comes with nuts, brand new in Toyota bag.

This garb bar was originally provided by mot (may his name be praised forever!); an oak version is currently installed in my '94 and serving triple duty as a towel bar and cup holder; but the '92 is being sold and I simply never got around to installing the grey version. Installation is very straightforward and documented in several threads. I cheated and installed mine when the dash was out.

$50, shipped in the lower 48; actual shipping w/discount elsewhere.

The first picture shows the bar that is for sale. Sorry about the quality; if necessary, I can remove the bar from the bag and take a better picture on a sunny day. The second picture shows an oak bar of the same style installed in the '94.

Thank you for looking.

Time to reduce the price.

One more week. Surely someone out there needs a passenger-side towel bar?

Price reduction.

Do I need a better picture?

Another week, another bump.

I'm not sure mot can get more of the handles these days...

great piece!

I had one on my old LX, loved it!! With it was for that, I would have snagged it long ago! I ask mot recently, he has not seen any in a while... Dude, put it o ebay, get double this price easy!

Thank you for the bump. I'd much rather it be appreciated by someone here than flipped on ebay...

The "after the big snow storm" bump. Somebody buy it, before I figure out how to use it to get our power back!

Another year, another bump.

HI, how does this install? Does it require drilling the dash? Where does it bolt in under the padding?
thanks,
J

You do have to make two (somewhat large) holes in the dash. There is a molded space on the back where each nut goes that you can reach without taking the whole dash apart.

A thread with pictures showing the install in the post '94 dash (with airbags, I guess. Newfangled stuff I know nothing about):

I noticed that you signature mentions a '96. As I understand it, the grip assembly I have is for the '91-'94 style of dash (the more round version), at least in North America.

Thank you for your interest.
