Hello,

I just installed my blue sea fuse block and wired it up to my X2 27m battery that I got from batteries plus. My question is my voltage. I drove my 100 to work and had seen that my voltage was 13.0 when i turned off the vehicle. I plugged in my fridge which is a Dometic CFX-65DZUS. I have it set for -8 and my voltage is reading 12.4 after 2 1/2 hours. The fridge was plugged in over night at -8 and was placed in my vehicle running on my way to work as well.

How does my voltage look? Good about right? How low is low for my X2 Power battery? I'm keeping tabs on it today at work and want to get an idea on time/voltage on it. Its about 75 in Boulder today.

Thanks.

Here is my ARB Fridge running off my old Die Hard Platinum that's on its way out. Outside Temps were 82-79*
Fridge is set at 26* F

Hope this gives you an idea, but I think you need a longer test and to also see if the fridge is running when you take your reading.

Test was about 18 hours-

Voltage will sag under load and not actually reflect the true state of charge in the battery. I'll bet everything is fine. Get a power meter and measure your consumption in a 24 hour period.

Boltripper - Thank for the info. I got to work around 9:30am and left at 5:30pm. Your info was inline to what I have for those times I checked on it. It was at 12.2 when i left work.

Cruiserdrew, thanks for the power meter idea. I will try that out this weekend.

As far as my battery voltage goes should i not go below 12.1? It was hard to find info on this with my X2 Power battery.

Many of us use one of these

I like the Anderson PowerPole system and use them on many things.. I terminated the amp meter with them and hook then in-line with my battery to measure usage as Drew discussed.

This connects to my 2nd battery system and I use the connectors on my solar setup and my wall charger...
