Disclaimer...I am not an events coordinator nor do I desire the job but I wanted to get this info out as quick as possible so anyone not heading to GSMTR can get on board early and start making plans. I wanted to pull this from the other thread as not to clutter it up for the folks attending GSMTR.

Location: URE / The Monk's Barn

When: May 18th-20th

The GSMTR Bypass run will take place at URE May 18th-20th. After talking to Kenny this weekend they have graciously offered up the barn for one last event before it gets too hot. Look even if your ride is busted or in rebuild mode...whatever the case find a way to get to the barn for some ONSC social time. There is always someone with an open seat for the riding days.

Camping will be Friday night and Saturday with wheeling on Saturday and Sunday. We can decide how many groups and what trails based on who is there and their experience levels. I'll let Kenny chime in on meals but I would assume Saturday night would be a potluck style meal that is open to discussion. We have plenty of time to figure that part out. As usual, I'll be down early Friday afternoon to help setup and pitch in with anyone else needing a hand.

Been there.... great brewery. But after finding out that they are a strong supporter and endorser of the Sierra Club (number one trail enemy, i've kicked their beer from my fridge forever)

sucks cuz its really good :crybaby:

As this trip overlaps with the work day, I plan on putting in some time. To ensure I get enough time on the trails, I'm now planning to head up on Friday afternoon and camp that night and Saturday. As it doesn't get dark until 8ish, I hope to get some wheeling in Friday evening before setting up camp.

David, I will leave the gate "dummy locked" all day Friday in case you want to drop your load off before hitting the trails. Anyone that is planning on helping with the trail clean-up is welcome to come stay at the barn Friday night. I have to work til 6:00 Friday and til 1:00 Saturday, then I will be able to hit the trails. For meals, everyone on their own Friday and some kind of pot luck dinner on Saturday. It would be nice to have a theme dinner for the pot luck, any suggestions? Remember, first come, first serve on camping spots!

I'll probably be flying solo on this one - Emma has baby shower(s) to attend Saturday. I will likely have an open seat in Dozer if anyone wants to be the first to try out the new suspension seats :D

All this assuming I can find the time to finish mounting them.

I "might" need to ride with someone depending on what Doc says about what i can do with these stitches in.

Darin if i was going you could with me. We could check out my sweet spring setup and my noob driving skills. Haha

Dave, I'll be there around 2 so I can help you out if needed. I'm picking up Tillman at 12 and heading down with the RV. Stacy and the twins will most likely be there in the morning with the 80. So most likely no wheeling for me Friday.

Be ready for some small changes to Daniel. The FS had to go get the burned out Heep on Daniel, so they filled in the lower ledge and the gatekeeper has changed some also i understand. No more tree for gatekeeper is my understanding from someone there today.

Evan and I plan to attend...we will likely head up on friday....shall I bring the lawn darts for the kids???lol

Stitches? I'm going to do everything I can to be there from Saturday through Sunday, by myself, so you can ride with me!

Looks like my brother is coming up from Waxhaw too! He'll be riding w/ me in Dozer. Stoked to have him join us on the trails!
