i had the same issue and just grabbed something from the hardware store..i think i just snugged it up from inside with a nut and washer after removing the tail gate cover..it has held up for 8 years now
yotamotive had one. He sent it with a bunch of other parts I bought from him. Found that the thread in the tailgate was buggered up so I had to run a tap thru it. That's probably why it was missing. Trying my best to keep it stock (except for the GM 6.0L engine).
