I discovered the bondo/rust problem when installing the tailgate panel. I drilled into the quarters to install the bolts, and hit bondo all the way down until I hit... rusted crinkled steel. Apparently the thing was rear ended and completely destroyed the geometry of the body in the back. So rather than fixing it the previous owner just hired a sculptor to attempt to reshape everything. It didn't come out so well as can be seen by the massive gap between the rr quarter and the tailgate panel
