I got a disc front axle off C.L. for $200. I knew it needed rotors for sure and at least a rebuild of the Warn hubs. It came with various other parts and do say I got a screaming deal this close to home on the axle. Thanks Ben.

Identifing the axle was made by the little ring on the brake line. It read 6/76, so I assumed it is a 1976 axle, or at least a 76 brake line, with the small pattern knuckles.

Got a set of 6 shooters including the Trail Gear cromoly birfs, from here on MUD. This worked out to be cheaper than what I was finding the fj60 knuckles for, so Im happy

Sized up the new Longfield wiper seal, the instruction said to be sure they fit into the groove on the back of the knuckle. It fit like a glove.

My axle build to replace the front axle on my '67 Fj40. Some shopping online, a trip to Bobby Longs, and a lot of help from Mudmaster, has made this go pretty smoothly so far, but as of now, its not under my truck just yet.
