Accessing the harness behind the engine/top of bell housing area.

The wiring harness is connected via three big connectors to a main engine harness right behind the engine and on top of the bell housing for the transmission.

great idea, ill have to get myself a piece of cardboard like that. I had pain in places i didn't know existed when i changed my valve cover gaskets and spark plugs.
 
@djernie - yep the idea just came to me as I looked around to get up there and I needed both hands free to get the connectors on the top of the bellhousing loose. You know how those can take both hands. I, of course, had the engine "beauty cover" removed. Was basically laying on the intake and the top of the radiator/radiator support. That was doubled cardboard and really thick at that. This was some cardboard from some the shipment of some body panels for another project. Very thick; that's why I kept it!
