1st FJ, Just picked up 97 40th Anniversary Edition with blown Motor

Nice! If you can find one for a decent price I think this is the route to go. Then you can drop whatever motor you want in there. have a fresh start .

I had a built 5.3 sitting around needing a home, so this makes sense. with the lift, extra mod weight, larger tires, etc, the 5.3 should be a good fit. Has a baby cam, and we freshened up the motor, all in all, looking forward to the finished product. We'll post photos as we go. j
