Looking to buy a FJ40 in good shape. Little to no rust, excellent mechanical condition, strong engine and transmission, no issues. I only have $4,000 to spend, so I realize I'm asking a lot. But I also know this is the place to look. (I used to have a FJ60 and the forum here was always a fantastic resource!) I am in north Texas, so naturally, the closer the better. But transport arrangements can be made if the right vehicle comes along. Thank you for taking the time.
hello This is my daily driver, but it doesn't suit my needs anymore, need a truck. I replaced the whole suspension including leafs with a Manafre 3" lift kit. The stock engine runs great, so I didn't do anything to it, except a new radiator, water pump. It's all de-smogged. It has headers and a holley 2 barrel. It was overhauled by a previous owner. I have receipts for that and everything I've done. I replaced all the steel in the back (floor, inner fenders) and the whole thing has been repainted. The 33" tires are about 70% remaining. New Cool Cruiser front bumper. It has a soft top on it. I have a bikini top and the original hardtop. The hardtop needs to be restored. I will post pictures asap. I am looking to get $12k. Jim...
