Hello.
I'm in Tucson, AZ, and as the subject says, I'm looking for an FJ or BJ40. I cannot haul it, and I can't take time off of work, so it either needs to be close and in street-worthy condition or we would have to come to some kind of shipping agreement.
Most important is a sound body and frame (no cancerous rust!). I don't have the finesse to do body work, and I don't have the money to have it done professionally. This doesn't mean I'm looking for a show-room cruiser (I couldn't afford it!), just something that has a body in decent condition.
Dents, dings, etc. are alright as this is meant to be a fun vehicle and I plan to have it offroad.
I can do any mechanical work necessary, but would prefer something that can at least be driven, even if it's rough.
I may be out of touch for about a week and a half soon, so pm/email is the easiest way to get ahold of me.
