ICS will be a single wire on the Aftermarket carb. Hook that to the Green wire that went to the old two-wire ICS (should get 12V on the green wire with key on/engine off).

Yes, one-wire ICS is grounded through the carb body.

The Vacuum switch for decleration won't function now because it uses switched ground to function (through the emissions computer), with the two-wire ICS, which is no longer there.

Sell the switch if it's working; they're NLA.
How do I convert it to a 1 ICS system though, if the clip is gone? I'm assuming I also have to repair this broken wire too?

Forgive my lack of bananas.

@Beehanger

The single-wire off the NEW ICS Solenoid needs to be spliced or connected to the GREEN wire from the harness-side connector. If you use a small thin pick to remove the spade from the connector housing, on the harness side, then you won't need to splice anything as it should work with a generic connector from auto parts store....

Make sure you're getting 12v at that green wire with the key on, engine off. You should hear a click from the ICS to verify all is working when you tap tap the green wire (key on) to the ICS wire.

*** I'll try and post some pictures later of what I'm talking about, and the correct wire.

You could just use some generic Male/Female single-wire connector, or something more waterproof - Walmart will actually have what you need if there's one close by.

I dont have a walmart, I'm in a town of 15000 ppl. would love some photos and walmart only links tho!

What do you mean by 'clip'? The ICS plug or something else?
the green plastic connector. Im thinking photos are going to be worth a thousand words for me here :/

This is what you want to do:

Check which harness side green-connector ( that went to the old ICS) wire has 12v (I think it's the green one) but I'm not 100% It's been a while.

If you have an auto parts store or even a hardware store around, they should have a simple female spade connector for the gray connector on the new carb.
