1994 w/lockers and new 33s in MI - $4500
Post on CL for $5000. Mud price is $4500. Won't go any lower.
Reason for selling
1. I'm buying and selling motorcycles and I am thinking it would be better to put myself into a Taco
2. The cost of building the LC is more than I anticipated
Details
I bought it off a used car lot almost a year ago. It had 178k miles... it now has 184k miles. It starts, great, runs smooth, no issues. Factory lockers work great, with no issues at all. Don't even need to do figure 8s, they just engage like they are supposed to.
I THOUGHT that I had a headgasket issue, but I got lucky. I flushed everything and refilled and I think I have escaped the HG monster. No problems since then. What I think happened was that the car lot topped the coolant off with something that didn't mix well with Toyota Red. If you want to come and look at it, and bring a headgasket test kit, feel free.
Prior to me, it was a 1 owner truck and all service was done at the dealer (Rouen Toyota in OH...I'm going to try to get those records ASAP). Carfax tells me that they hit a deer in 2002 (I think) and it was repainted a not quite factory green that has grown on me as I've owned it. There are no signs of damage to the frame, core support or anything. I SUSPECT that maybe the radiator was changed, because it looks really nice.
Very little rust. The frame, rockers, etc are all 99% rust free. The worst is the passenger rear door, where there is rust coming through at the seem (pic below).
The Good:
98% rust free (very rare for this area)
Factory lockers work great
A/C is nice and cold
Sunroof works well
Starts, runs, drives as it should
The Bad:
power antenna is bent and doesn't go all the way up or down... radio reception isn't strong because of this
Front power windows are getting slow
A bit of rust at the rear passenger door seam
CD Player doesn't work
Driver's seat is ripped
Valve cover is leaky
Small leak at the bellhousing, but doesn't even leave a drip on the driveway
finish on the factory wheels is pretty crappy
Let me know if you have any other questions. I'm at my bottom dollar. I would trade for a 4x4 Toyota truck of similar value... but I'm not interested in anything with a 3.0
EDIT: Also forgot to mention that I have removed the running boards
