I moved this from classifieds to FJ45 classifieds where people are looking for longer wheelbase lc's.

Great Land Cruiser. I have enjoyed this cruiser twice as much as my 40. Very Original Truck.
1981 HJ47; RHD,

The Good: newer General 33x7.5's, eight 16" splits, 4 speed, 2H diesel (18mpg) TORQUE! (I take off in second gear 95% of the time) Engine has 215,000 kilometers. Runs strong, newer air filter, dual fuel filters OEM, NEW OEM tierod ends, NEW steering stablizer, NEW fabbed 4 core radiator from reputable shop in Augusta GA. Cost me $950 w/o installation. NIPPON Air Conditioner, Original and unused dunlop spare. Original tools, Factory rear step, all original seats (11 seats), aluminum bull bar, full roof rack,

The not so Good: There is some rust. The bed is fine the ambi doors have small rusr areas, the floor pan on the driver side will need to be replaced. The hood has some rust through on the front, reparable. The cowl has some rust too. ALL REPAIRABLE!

If you're looking for a dependable troopie that you can drive now and repair some sheet metal as you go. Solid platform! This is your truck. I cannot pump gas or get milk and bread without being stopped. ;)

I don't have to sell, so the price is firm. $10,950. I'm in Iraq again and I know that the rust is not getting any better with me being over here. It is currently in storage with a buddy of mine driving it every so often. Let me know!

bump, anyone near the augusta ga area is welcome to come look at this truck anytime, just let me know ahead of time so i can go get it out of storage. this thing is incredible. Every other month I drive this thing daily. It has never let me down and I honestly wouldn't hesitate to drive it across country.

Any pictures of the interior? I bet that half of the views are mine. I'll eventually get an HJ47 but I don't want to do much work on it.

The HYPERLINK at the top has interior pics... SteveC has my truck right now. He can talke photos of more specific areas... just pm him.

This truck's pros are a low mile, solid diesel 2h with 130k miles on it; coupled with a 4 speed trans. It is original. (am radio, oem ac, tools, spare tire, ect.)

It was my daily driver, so it is dependable.

It's con is that it has rust; nothing that is major though. There are small rust through areas on the body (hood, cowl, floor pans (left side shot), bottom of ambi door.

This is a truck for someone who is proficient with bodywork, or who is willing to pay someone to.

I bought the truck knowing it had minor rust but the condition of the engine and the drivability was good enough to be a daily driver. I was going to have it patched as I went.... and eventually paint it. Multiple deployments have stopped me in doing so. So, it is time to sell. I do not want to go through ebay. I'd rather someone on mud get it and restore it.

I know someone who would give up his first born for that or may sell his 40 :) and hes 2 hours away

 have him talk it over with the wife and get back with me with an answer.
