Ugly pools does good work but they are up North but they do work all over. They are a little spendy but the work they do is awesome.

By the way I hate my pool still cant find the damn air leak. I wish I could take the damn thing out.

Looking for someone to do some pool repair/rework/replaster in the east valley soon.

Any recommendations?

I am a licensed Pool contractor, but do not do finishing / internal remodel work such as surfacing, or masonry, just plumbing, equipment replacement, eletrical, heaters, etc. etc.
That being said, I have a short list of reccomended "Remodel" companies that I can provide, all who have proven track record over dozens of jobs.

Air leak on pressure side, or suction? I imagine you've already replaced gaskets in valves, lids / tanks / unions etc?

I was impressed by CDC. We're going to go with them when the time comes. Maybe we can work out a small group buy with them?

I just dealt with that last week. It turns out there was a blockage in the line between the skimmer and the filter and it forced the system to suck in air from wherever it was available on the vacuum side. I know Leslie’s let me borrow a blockage remover which is a canvas attachment for the end of your hose, you put it in at the skimmer side, remove the lid on the filter before the pump, and turn on the pressure. It might help.

Or just run a normal pipe snake / plumbing router down the suction side from the pump back toward the skimmer if there is a blockage. Worst case scenario for large blockage (especially if you have pine trees / needles around your pool) we put a gas water pump running backwards from the pump toweard the pool @ 5000 GPH, slowly increaing flow / pressure untill the lines are blown out of sedinmanet, blockage, etc caught in low lines of the suction system over the years. Ive had 10+ lbs of debris come out of the lines doing this...

First thing to do is to change the o ring kits in the Jandy valves, that seems to be 80% of the issue generally with air lock...

FJ40LVR: So far I have replaced every joint or union not sure if that is the right word or not with all new ones. Re-plumbed the entire pool plumbing where the filter is. I bought an entire new backwash valve set and installed that. All new gaskets with plenty of pool lube too. I don't know if you remember or not but back in May you recommended Galen to do my acid wash and he did a great job. I have even hired him to do my weekly cleanings because his does a great job, but unfortunately he cant even figure out where the air is getting in at. To put it mildly I have a s*** ton of small bubbles coming out of the returns in the pool. I know your in the far east valley but if you are interested I would be willing to pay you to diagnose the issue so I can get this thing running right. PM me if interested. I really am at a loss about where the air could be coming from.
