need a hood for my 55

I'm looking for a decent replacement hood for my 78 fj 55, color is not important, just needs to be fairly straight and workable. I live in N. AZ, West of Flagpole. Have a few 45 and 55 parts for barter or $. Also need the rear latch for the tailgate, mine snapped off

Pig parts?

There was a FJ55 pig in the same yard that I just recommended for a FJ60 parts. I'll wander by come Monday morning and see if it had a decent hood, etc. May be too far for you to come down, or not - depends on the price they're asking, eh?

that would good of ya glenn, let me know,,,,,,,i guess i could make it down there soon, waiting to hear back on a possible 55 hood in cornville/clarkdale area. can you also see if this pig has the rear tail gate latch

Here are some snaps of the rig. Things I noticed

1. All the glass is there, but the driver side crank assembly is gone.
2. There is a t-case and assorted other bits inside.
3. No interior panels.
4. Large hole where roof used to be.
5. Body panels look that they had been sanded and bondo applied prior to a repaint?
6. Engine looks intact with the exception of air cleaner.
