It depends on what kind of PM has been done recently, Birfs/Knuckles, HG done? As expensive as gas is getting... How are the front seats? looks like you are in Cali? I would say it depends on how long you want to sit on it. $6,000 OBO tops and be willing to go down closer to 5... I would think $4,500 would be a good deal to the buyer... Again, what's been done mechanically to it?
Pictures look great. You can probably get a bit more for it because it is one of the rare blue ones that everyone likes. Having great maintenance records will help you sell it.
Look on Edmonds and the bluebook and then go to some of the online sites for auto sales and you'll get a good idea of what it is worth.
Looks good from the exterior, but how many miles? What lift is on it? Usually things like lift and other bolt-ons don't add to the price of the vehicle. May make it more appealing, but you don't get your money back. Ask me how I know...
Hard to read the mileage, is it 225,xxx? That will make a difference on price, but again, PM will matter more than a lot of that to a LC guy. Around here, $4500-5500 would probably sell it, but out there you may start at $6500 and take the best offer.
Don't forget, you probably won't get your money out of the add-ons. You may want to post up your rack on here or craigslist, as it won't add to the overall value. My 2c.

Rare color, rare lockers, clean California vehicle - even with 225k miles, if it passes an independent (or ih8mudder) inspection I can't imagine less than $6000, maybe more since the Cali,PNW market seems higher priced than the rest of the country.
Good service records would push it higher.
Above pricing is assuming you don't NEED to sell it NOW.
Thanks for all the feedback. I'm selling it because we moved to Rancho Murieta California 3 weeks ago and the commute is quite far. This is a daily driver for my wife and I doubt gas will come down soon. I'm in no hurry to sell it and nothing is wrong with it mechanically that would make me need to.
I've gone through all the records I have and grabbed the big dollar items. Here is a quick list:
1. 5/2006 replace cat converters
2. 6/2010 replace AC compressor, Drier and other hoses and such related to AC
3. 3/2008 replace the Starter, Valve cover gasket, distributor o-ring, misc. hoses
Things I've had installed:
1. LED interior lights
2. ARB roof-rack
3. Center diff. lock switch
4. OME 2.5" Lift with Damper (Heavy front, Med back)
Since the truck has 225K on it, has the HG been replaced? Axles serviced recently?
I'd agree with others that with 225k on the clock but otherwise good condition, around $5.5 to $6k would be fair IMO. If you have records of HG and axle service then I would ask more and highlight that these were done.
I know in California that gas is $4.50 a gallon and several 80's have popped up for sale on Craigslist lately so GLWS.....
I hate to sound like I don't know anything, but what is the "HG," head gasket? If so when do these engines seem to routinely need them. At that point I would think a valve job would be nice too. How many miles has anybody seen on a stock bottom end? Sorry to high-jack...
^head gaskets on these rigs can go at almost any point. Some below 100k some above 200k. I'm not one of those people on this forum that is overly paranoid about my head gasket failing. Its original at 200k and still runs great. Keep the cooling system up and say a little prayer once a year and you should be okay.
As much as it hurts me to say it... Probably around 6k.
I'd pull the rest of the leather off that steering wheel...the rubber underneath it is better than what you have showing. Unfortunately, these steering wheels and shifter leather covers don't last too long. $400 and your old wheel as a core will replace it...but I don't think you would get the cost back in the sale...nice to tell the new owner though as new owners don't mind spending some money once they get their hands on the truck. Nice looking rig!!
Gas prices are even scaring me, I drive mine daily 50 miles a day!! It's killing me in fuel, but I love the truck...not sure that love will continue when gas hits $5/gallon which will most likely be this summer. I have an 85' RX-7 GSL-SE, but it doesn't do much better than 17 city 23 highway (better than the cruiser, but not great), hate putting miles on it as it's in mint condition. Should probably sell both and get an electric Nissan Leaf!!
One thing I would do is get a $25 wheelskins and wrap the steering wheel - just for added curb appeal- it will make a big difference when someone goes to look at it.
Forget the headgasket- the truck is what it is. Theoretically, a HG can go any time and it's more a forum thing more than a "real world" issue. Sure, it's better if it's done but on a used car there are a million things that "could be better". That's why it's used!
Price through edmunds.com and kbb.com to get a ballpark. However, keep in mind 80's are pretty rare and clean ones are really, really rare. If you are not in a rush, I would settle on a fair price you can live with and wait for the right buyer.
Advertise on craigslist, ih8mud and if you dont get hits, pay to sell on autotrader
This is absolutely the worst place in the world to get sales advice and pricing. Board users here want everything perfect, factory lockers and all PM done with records. Then they want to pay 70 percent of market value or less.
Get the KBB, NADA values and start advertising. The average buyer is not going to drill you on birfs, window runs, antenna replacements, head gaskets, oil pump gasket and brakes, etc. etc.. They generally just want a nice 80 and don't plan on running the Rubicon or pretending that they could. You will get much more for the truck that way.
X3. Craigslist is probably the best. Thats where i found mine. As long as your not in a rush, the right buyer will come along but definitely start with KBB or NADA. Good luck
