Hello. I'm just wondering if anyone had any problems with instaling ARB bull bar to a cruiser with air bags. In instalation manual from mine says that it must not be done because serius injury may occur. I bought a bar for HZJ80 alltough mine is HDJ80 (flareless), but i belive only difference is that for HZJ is narower because it doesn't have flares (that's why I bought this one). Anyone experienced any problems with airbags? Thanks, Miha

The general concensus on airbag and arb front bumper equipped 80's is no airbag has deployed when it shouldn't have and all airbags have deployed when it was required. Airbag sensors are based on deceleration so there should be no issue.
The newer 100 series ARB bumpers are airbag capatible and have a crumple zone built into the portion that attaches to the frame rails.
