A tiny drop of purple (low strength) is probably good. I hesitate to recommend it as standard practice out of fear of folks using too much and stripping screws if they ever need to change batteries. Sending out a replacement screw is much easier than replacement plastics.

If you keep the wrench handy and check screws twice a year you'll be unlikely to lose a screw.

Been waiting for my old key to break, and today was the day! Ordered a black one and going to hand it off to my buddy to see what he can do.

I had to tighten all 3 this morning. The screws are protruding out the other side so I assume I have them tight enough?

The screw protrusion will vary from key to key. The black screws also protrude more than the stainless steel ones. I wouldn't use that as a judge of tightness. The screws should be about as tight as your fingers can comfortably tighten it with the wrench vertical (so you're pressing against the short leg of the wrench). If yours are all coming loose over time I'm guessing they are just a little on the loose side and need a little more tightness.

Update on the Red color. I've switched over the the USMC red from Cerakote. It's a little brighter and more vibrant than the Smith and Wesson red I used in the last couple months.

I still have one FDE left, but then I'll be out of stock on those for a few weeks. Other colors are pretty well stocked.

Wow been a while since I’ve been on this tread, I think I’m on a year with my yotamd now. Been flawless so far. Though I did replace my shell in July for the limited edition HIH8 plastics. All hardware and the titanium frame are original.
