I'm thankful the attempt to provide parts like these to Cruiserheads is being made, but it appears that most don't ever get off the ground despite the demand. Just seems like a shame that neither side really benefits despite the effort. I hate Jeeps, but certain parts are a lot easier to obtain.....Hell parts for my TR3A are a snap to get by comparison and I bet fewer were imported to the U.S.

On the contrary, the OP has several products like this that he has developed for mud. He just can't source them all at once. He just recently started selling his batch of reproduction door safety straps.

I think we have had a great amount of items produced for mud members here by mud members.. What is it that you're having trouble finding?

Yea I'm sorry that I'm not able to pull this one off right now. Im wrapped up in the other four items at the moment. Looks like it may take a while before I recover enough to start on windows. But a sincere thanks to the guys that support these items.

I hope it wasn't perceived that this was a knock on any of the members who have tried or are trying to provide products. That was by no means my intent. As i said, i am thankful for their efforts and for what has been introduced successfully. I got out of Cruisers 8 years ago due to other priorities, and back into it a few months ago, and am just surprisied that a lot of the cool and in-demand parts such as true reproduction fold down tailgates, doors (front, barn, half front), windows, OEM soft tops, etc, that were on the cusp of finding their way here then are still largely unavailable despite the apparent demand. Yes, I've done the reading about Ehsan, the issues there as well as OCD soft tops, etc. but with the impressive talent level of our forum members I just figured this space would have been filled long ago.

Other than the tops, those things all do exist, and there are several retailers, mind you, they aren't always easy to find with a simple search, there are a few steel parts manufacturers, and a few well priced fiberglass door manufacturers. Search gozard an Weiss design. Pm one of us If you need help.

I didnt take it as a knock at all. No worries here. Its just a hard thing to try to get things produced. So much more than meets the eye when producing even something simple. A labor of love for sure!

I have some sources for slider window manufacturing. I will start working on this one if there is enough interest. I think there will be but please comment if you want a reasonably priced set. There is only one retailer that has these available for a whoppin $410(isnt that kinda steep?)

I need a little help from all of you to get started. I got rid of my last hard top a few months ago. I dont have one to take measurements. I have looked everywhere online and cant find measurements and when i do, I am getting mixed information. If someone has a side hardtop panel with the glass out that they could take some pictures with a measuring tape showing height and width. This will work for a preliminary work up. I can get a panel that Tackleberry has offered near me, but it might be a week or so. Id like to get on this now. This would be for years 63-76.

I found a few pictures that are not mine but show what im thinking.

Thanks Brothers!

10 plus years without a product on the market, I'm not sure this is going to happen, as much as I'd love to slap a set in the side windows of my rig, nothing looks promising here.
