Thanks all. It's fun creating something, especially using things not normally designed for.

Now that the window is figured out, will pick a day this week, weather permitting, and spray some primer inside and out.

Also working on tube fenders today.

So changed up the fender design. Started to be too concerned with the fender design and look more over the function. So changed gears to what I need for function. Flatter design with open front for fridge slide out, and rear side bars for RTT mounting. Will still sheet metal the fender tops, that or diamond plate it.

What happened to using the original back hatch as part of the cab and the rear window?

The main reason was the window having too much curve to it. I could have made the frame flat and had a custom cut window for it, but was thinking down the road if it broke or needed replacement, I would have to had it made again.
The other reason was I wanted a window that opened up, sliding was the original idea.

Messed around with the seating a bit today. A buddy of mine dropped off a bench seat from an older truck, forget what out of, and am wanting to switch to bench seat. I know that non-US spec 60's offered them, but that's like finding factory cable lockers.
So will see if this will work. Width is good, height maybe a touch too high. Plus there is the relocating the e-brake if went this route.

Bench seat is a great idea. We had one in the front of our bj60 when I was growing up, it think it was out of a 4runner?

Where did you have your e-brake handle? I was thinking moving it forward or even going with an old Toyota truck dash pull handle.

Wet sanded and added 2 coats of epoxy primer. Added the seal around the rear window and installed that fully. Sealed and stained the bed wood slats. Started drilling holes for mounting the to the bed. Fuel line bent and in place, need to secure it to the frame rail. A lot of little things left, hopefully not too much longer til she's on the road.
Reinjured lower back this weekend so unable to work on it this week.

forgive me if you've answered this question already... will the rear axle be powered? or is it just there to support load. if powered, how will you rig the driveshafts to both axles?

lastly, NICE work!

Hope you feel better Eric.
