You certainly have skills and a vision.

Personally, I am not a big fan of 6x6's unless it is that Benz posted above. I have owned a 6x6 Pinz and while a super fun truck it had a number of downfalls besides being independent suspension. Turning radius is bad on a 6x6 and they tend to eat rear tires quickly. You will never get the rear axles flexing much too. But, if you have all 3 axles locked it will climb up just about anything. My Pinz with 33" Boggers was nearly unstoppable on vertical hill climbs. As long as it was not off-camber it would climb some serious stuff. Of course those trucks have issues due to the swing arm suspension.

Cheers

A little bit of sheet metal work when I get the time. Stitch welding is tedious work. A few hours here and there , and she'll on the road in no time. Almost to the point of moving to the inside and welding inside the cab.
Still on the fence on what style rear window to use.
Next week I'll have the bed off and finish up the frame and paint the frame and parts. Also run the fuel line as well.
Need to work on the new rear wire harness as well.
Also tackling other rust spots along the way as well.

Was sitting down and thought this was a pretty cool picture, turned out better black and white. She's just waiting to be released and play!

Finished welding the frame and painted as well. Tube bender will be here this week, going to tube the fenders for better support and mounting.
Going to work on painting the bed tomorrow as well as staining the wood. Also work on fuel hard line routing.

So what do you get when you have parts laying around for an upcoming project and beer? Two hours later...

Purpose? Who knows. I am planning on mounting my third battery inside the frame back there and maybe add some storage. Be nice to access it this way. Mounts need redoing, which I have plans already. Not sure to attach fenders to bed when lifted or not.

Video uploading and will post soon.

Not sure why. I'll update the settings again.

It's working now. May just have been my browser, not sure.

Looks awesome!! Reinforce the bed underneath the ram so it can lift some weight!!

Now that I know it works, that's the plan. Heading to the steel place to pick up more material.
