First was rear heater deletion. Got rid of the long metal tubes and then the heater box assy itself. The deletion leaves 4 holes in the floor. Luckily they are 25mm in width so I ordered the correct plugs to fill the holes from the top and the bottom. 90950-01011 They should be here next week.

Maybe keep the parts just in case you have some kids someday. They will appreciate warm toes on cold days and snow runs.

Kids?

:slap:

I said maybe. They are sometimes the byproduct of relations with a woman.

Rumor has it that medicine has discovered a preventive cure for kids.

There is only one cure for Cruiser-itis: a radical cash-ectomy.

Ironically, the eoccurence of kids often leads to a total cash-ectomy, which forcibly cures Cruiseritis.

Probably the most profound statement I've ever seen on MUD. Sounds like another good reason to stay single. Of course, the snips cure the kids potential.

noticed the dryer you are installing for the a/c. ive noticed my condensor is seeping some Freon what are you guys doing for replacement condensors? I didn't think the oe was available any more.

AFAIK, OEMS condensers are discontinued. I will advise when I get to work.

ACC was nice enough to let me use a bit of their shop space and Michael showed me the ins and outs of the split case.

Disassembly and cleaning occurred today. I am waiting on bearings from Georg. Also idler shaft showed wear so I decided on a new one.

Everything else looked really good for a 300k miles unit.

I thought you were getting a new OEM split case??
Or did I dream that ?

Carry on.

Was. The cost was VERY prohibitive.

$3K more would have put the on-road date into spring.

I want to be driving this by my birthday in January.

Just checked: Discontinued sir. Aftermarket would be your option.
