Now that I'm done with my mod, I'm sure I'll get all kinds of leads where I can buy the latch assembly.

Now that I'm done with my mod, I'm sure I'll get all kinds of leads where I can buy the latch assembly. Short story, mine is wore out and won't stay closed. Previous owners tried all kinds of fly by night repairs with no success. My mod was out of necessity.

Mine latches to the right/towards the passenger side. City Racer's latches to the left/drivers side. I've bought two (2) different sets of latches and both were wrong. I then wised up and started asking specifically which side the latch locked into. Turns out that my particular style latch was only made for one year, thus the difficulty in sourcing any.
Finished the front leaf springs and new shocks. Getting close to having
a good solid base to *start* from ;-l

Finished up my 60 series power steering conversion yesterday. Drives great and I am very happy with the results. Unfortunately the power steering pump has a bad bushing and is leaking fluid. Guess that's what I get for buying used parts. Anyone know where I can get a new OEM pump for a reasonable price? I've heard the rebuilt ones don't last long so I'm trying to avoid rebuilding the one I have. Thanks mud!![]()
