Yes. There is a small light bulb holder with white/black and red/black wires from harness to bulb. It takes a small bulb.

After years of owning my bj40 and not doing anything about the black exhaust that I was getting at launch or under a load/ acceleration, I finally adjusted the injector pump to reduce diesel flow. It only took a very small adjustment and it made an instant, huge difference. The black exhaust is gone and I’m a happy camper!

Put my new millermatic 142 to work today. Welded a bunch of patch panels in my fj55. The passenger and drivers fender was repaired in the past with what looks to be a couple of quarts of bondo....

Below is just what stayed atached to the panel I cut out. thats probibly 50% of just one side.....

Couldn’t miss the snow pic opportunity! It’s a big one for eastern NC.

I SAW YOUR FJ40 IN THE PARKING LOT OF A PIGGLY WIGGLY! My wife and I were driving through over the holidays. We didnt get as much snow as you here on the outerbanks.

That was me, great butcher out there - was grabbing a beef tenderloin for Xmas dinner. Let me know if you come thru Kinston again, we’ll have to talk cruisers. Love your 55 build.

Hahah nice! I feel like its rare you see 55s and 40s in eastern NC these days. I will let you know for sure. My wifes family lives in New Bern NC and My extended family lives in Burlington NC. So we are driving through kinda often. Wont pass up a cruiser chat thats for sure!

WHYD to your Cruiser this week?
Replaced my dash cluster in my 73 FJ40. Odometer, oil pressure and fuel gauge non functional. After much research and attempting to repair mine, but finding odometer gears stripped and partially melted together.... found one of our members... jvzii on YouTube (10mm Garage Guy).😎 My 73 cluster was unique in the sense that it was the transition year of clusters. Jack set me up with an assembly for a very reasonable price that was plug and play. I was not wanting to do an upgrade to a digital assembly due to the cost... and hassle of setting it up. Mine was a mess.. He sent a nice clean functional unit and I couldn't be happier. My fuel gauge was only showing half full when it was completely full. I was thinking it was the sending unit. Contacted Jack and he walked me through checking ohms and grounding to determine the cause. Sure enough it was the sending unit. Replaced it with an OEM unit from City Racer. Everything works fine. Very happy.😎The ugly removed, replacement backside and then installed...

Drove a 40 for the first time in probably 4 mo. Sad to say, they all need work, except this one. This one only needs me to move to a free state so i dont have to comply with foolish smog laws on a vehicle that will see less than 1k miles of asphalt a year :(

Beautiful day for a topless drive out in the hills.

I have read and heard about Montana. Something along the lines of a simple registration to an LLC… just a thought… I know nothing about it but apparently it works
