rent a Hotsie... its a steam/hot water pressure heater. Get a few 40 friends to go in together on a days rental. You'll have a squeeky clean chassis in minutes! They're really amazing and heat is the key.
What did you use for the mounts that bolt to the windshield frame? Did the holes match up to the factory spacing?Thanks Dizzy. Looked online and found cheap ones that were made cheaply/poorly and for a Jeep. Also noticed that Icon sells something similar for the FJ, but they are asking 450 dollars. I am in for about 30 bucks total for mine.... plus they are one of a kind![]()
I just used the original sun visor mounts and posts so the holes were perfect. I had to cut and weld the post extending from the mount so that it would clear the roll cage, but other than that the original was good to go.What did you use for the mounts that bolt to the windshield frame?
