Printed one of my Light knob designs. Still needs tweaking, but planning on creating a 4 knob set.
Lights, Wiper, Choke, Throttle, all the same size / design, just different letters. Maybe add a couple more options for AC, Heat, vent etc....

Fixing more rust. The hardtop rear brace was in pretty bad shape on the ends. Fixed one side, and am working on the rest.

drilled a bonus big hole at the bottom to spray an interior coating as well as allow for future water drainage... hopefully it will never see rust again...

Finally checked my gas mileage. 10.75mpg. Half of those miles came with only mechanical advance.
The other half with modified vacuum advance distributor. Will check again on to see if a full tank with vacuum advance gives better number

Day 1 pulled the rear suspension and removed the rear crossmember. Blood, sweat, tears were all shed.

Day 2 got the new cross member back in. New spring and ubolts. Left the shocks off for another day. Also installed my new trailer hitch receiver.

where did you end up getting your frame parts from, any comments reagarding fit and or quality?

The fitment was damn near perfect on a perfect cruiser...which meant my rust bucket was off by just a smidge on most holes. Nothing a few drill bits and a BFH couldn’t fix.

I will say removing the factory rivets was much harder then I had bargained for. I chose to use bolts to put everything back together so I would never have to deal with those again. My frame is pretty rusted so a frame off restoration is probably in its future. Maybe in 20 years when I retire 🤦🏻‍♂️
