3M PPF on the headlights and fog lights. Did not want to deal with sanding these later in life as they would be a bitch to do with the geometry of them.

A magnetic key box hidden under the car is always an option, but one I have never felt super comfortable with.

Xpel offers a slew of precut kits for LCs now, here's what is available for 16+, if this links correctly:

Generally if you know someone with a car club code or the like, you can get upwards of 20% off from the website. Retailers/installers also don't pay anywhere near these prices so the headlight/fog light kit that retails for $118 can often be had for $120 installed at a shop. Just depends what you're looking for.
That's just ridiculous.
One of my favorite cruisers ever.
Could you send a link to the lights that you purchased?Installed Morimoto fogs and Hakari Lo Beams. Removed the door trim pieces, 3M eraser wheel is the ticket! Still need do so more scrubbing, hopefully some mineral spirits will take care of it.
I'm VERY happy with the Ridge Grapplers. @mcgaskins sold me on them. Size is LT285/70R18 E 127/124Q. They are pretty quiet on the highway. MPG has decreased but I also have added weight. No KO2 experience. Going to do my first 5 tire rotation on them in coming days.
Just did all my 120,000 service. About to do the front brakes and it'll be driving brand new as well! These things are awesome for sure.Just turned 120,000 on my 2008 LC. What an amazing machine.
I purchased this one 2 years ago with 99,xxx miles. PO took decent care of it, at least changed the oil every 5k, but other than that I inherited all the 100k mile preventative maintenance and scheduled maintenance which I was fine with as I am mechanically inclined. Luckily, a friend pointed me to this website which honestly has been invaluable to servicing and maintaining this truck on my own. This past weekend I wrapped up the schedule maintenance for 120k and threw on new OEM rotors, pads and parking shoes. This thing drives like it is brand new.
If you are on the fence about buying an older cruiser, I encourage you to take the plunge. Between it being a quality, reliable machine and having MUD and its knowledgeable members as a resource, i'd say there is no risk. I'm looking forward to another 100,000 miles, issue free.
So after about 4500 miles I took these wheel spacers off. One lug broke off the front left wheel rotor and the ones on the rear began flexing so much they made a clicking noise. Back to the drawing board. Finally put wheel spacers on after about 1500mi with the Milestars. I couldn't find any 1" or 25mm spacers so I went with these KSP 5x150mm Hubcentric Wheel Spacers Fit for 5 Lug Wheels, 1.25” with 14x1.5 Studs. You can see the after/before in the 2nd & 3rd pics. Turned out pretty well.

wow that stainless setup in serious. Not sure i would want bare stainless though with always getting the dogs in and out and all the gear sliding across it. Wouldn't want to sit on that in the sun either!
Easy to install?Installed Pedal Commander on my 2018 LC.

Can't believe how significant of a difference this makes. When I originally test drove the truck, I was disappointed at how the pedal response was more or less the same as my old 2003 Sequoia (4.7 L engine). I had expected more. With Pedal Commander at the default SportPlus +0, the truck is downright jumpy (way too jumpy). I find that regular Sport +3 is perfect and FUN. Sport +0 is inline with what I expected the truck to drive like when I test drove it the first time (and where I'll keep it for when my wife drives).
The device's cable length is perfect. I didn't need the included velcro to attach it anywhere. I stuffed the cable up under the edge of the driver's side center console panel, so that the Pedal Commander comes out just to the side of my seat. It's out of sight, but easy to pull up to change the setting if needed. But won't really need to pull it up to change the setting, since it is bluetooth-enabled, so I can change the setting from my phone.
Here's how I routed the cable from the gas pedal:
