That’s all for now... Can’t wait for the Drawers!!! Anyone know what stain matches the LX factory wood trim in 2004???

Over the past couple weeks got this thing ready to hit some trails.

Picked up a set of 18" steel Tundra wheels on craigs list. I'll be mounting the load rated version of the same tires I have now (Duratrac 275/65/r18) I really wanted to go up to 33s but I needed a trail spare and didn't see the sense wasting the perfectly good set of half-used tires I have now.

White Knuckle Sliders came and we just happened to get a 60+ sunny day last weekend to do some rattle canning.

Installed the Smittybilt x20 12k into my Ironman bumper. Still debating if I want to bolt the control box onto the top of the bumper or leave it tucked underneath. Too bad it doesn't clear the bumper. I didn't find too many winch options that would have fit.

Installed front recovery points and new rear struts from @reevesci

Installed Dissent roof rack

How much the sliders run ya? Where did you get them?

Not much, piddled with Plasti Dip. I have some Tundra 18's waiting and brand new KO2's sitting in the garage. But I am going to keep them sitting there until closer to HIH's. So, I figured I would try anthracite on the wheels. Honestly, I think straight black looks better. Can't make up my mind.

^^^ Whites in, and just put them on already, it's not like you're going to bald them in 4 months. Tundra wheels often need spacers to fit the wheel cap, or drilled wheel caps. Figure stuff out now so you're set, start enjoying them and understanding the different fitment.

Yeah, I am pretty sure I need 1.25". So those are on the list. As far as the wheels go, I bought them from a guy in Illinois (I live in Texas) so just waiting on family to drive down and deliver them to me. We'll see how long I can wait once I get them :D

Let Gojira feast a bit in the muddy mess that was Land Between the Lakes in KY:

More pics in the picture thread.

Did the HVAC filter upgrade to TBK. From what I can tell by the DIY photos, there are a few more cables in the way of the cover on my 2006 vs. the earlier models? It was definitely tight in there! There was some debris in the box that was nice to get out of there. I wiped out as much black environmental "soot" as I could and put it back together. Now I'm breathing clean(er) air!
@dace voit Pictures?
Did the new face plate for HVAC cooler come with door or did you need to order two parts, part (s) #?

better than me, my friend. I had a lexus dealer do my alternator. SHAME. Paid $700 for a new alternator, some cookies, and a s***ty car wash... SIGH.

double post.

Adding a 7 pin socket and a brake controler. The hardest part was deciding to drill the hole in my slee bumper. I lined it up with the factory holes in the cross member. I figured if I hung it off the bottom of the bumper somewhere it would just get scrapped off at least 2 times a year.

Did the "street sign" mod to my mirror the other day...Much better visibility when the glass is in shards I can see every angle now, they're basically like tow mirrors. Highly recommend this:bang:
