Haha I meant why a 65 vs a 63?

Depends on which 63 you're referring to, the newer ones from 2013-2018 i cannot afford. The older ones, from 2009-2012, that engine is too weak. It's NA and people were complaining so they brought back turbos.

I have the older V12 Turbo, but it makes 600hp/700lb ft of torque right now, so that's plenty! :)

Fun car to drive around esp after driving the slow land cruiser around.

However, the Benz will die long before the cruiser though, that's for sure, even though it only has 1/3 the mileage of the LC.

I’ve driven my share of AMGs
Driven a NA E63 then the twin turbo e63 then a s63 and a clk63 Black series (all family cars not my personal)
The CLK black series was my favorite just raw power, aggressive as hell!
We put a renntech chip on the TT E and it had 650/750 man it flew, but you couldn’t bark the tires. I like a NA personally. I’d love to drive a 65 though

All prepped for an extended weekend of mall-crawling:

Did the HVAC filter upgrade to TBK. From what I can tell by the DIY photos, there are a few more cables in the way of the cover on my 2006 vs. the earlier models? It was definitely tight in there! There was some debris in the box that was nice to get out of there. I wiped out as much black environmental "soot" as I could and put it back together. Now I'm breathing clean(er) air!

Just replaced the wiper link assembly/transmission. Pretty easy job. Wish I didn't have to replace the whole assembly because of one bad plastic bushing.

Tinted the windows all the way around. Finding a tint that had a bronze shade to it was a little tricky for the front 2 windows. Waiting for them to dry out and we’ll put the 20% on the front windows to match it all up.
