What's that white stuff? it's 75 F here todayI moved it out of the way to snowblow the driveway for the first time during this storm. Sometimes they call for a good storm and then you actually get one.

How are the Swayaway torsion bars?
I can only see it useful if you're in a remote area somewhere far from roads . . .
Factory roof rack delete. View attachment 1648896
Those are nice, I just completely removed the sway bar. Imho it feels smoother. And not much more body roll than beforeI also “modded” a previous mod. I previously had some 3/8” pins that I was using for FSB quick disconnects. But, to be honest, they sucked. When I tried to use them the strong looking wire retainer thing (see pic) would basically pull off leaving the pin. View attachment 1649364
So I replaced the pins with these great T-handle quick release pins from Grainger (Fastenal has them too). They work perfectly as long as you only drill a hair over 3/8”. Only possible issue I see with these is the release mechanism becoming a little sticky, but nothing a shot of PB won’t fix. I have the version with 2.5 inches of workable length. After installing them I see that you could definitely get away with the 2.25 inch version 2 inch would likely be just a tad short. In this last photo it looks like the pin is too close to the CV, but there is no way it will touch. About $50 for two of these pins.

Bit the bullet and took my 2007 100 series to Stevinson Toyota west to have the AHC system drained and refilled and have the heater Ts replaced, as preventative maintenance on the truck that has 117K miles on it.
Should have known I was in trouble when they said "you are having the AC system drained and refilled?". Had to explain what I wanted and then they said the AHC fluid was $200. I was about to leave when they realized what I wanted and the fluid was quoted at $29.
I also could not get them to understand that I wanted to replace the heater Ts as preventative maintenance. They kept calling them a valve.
Finally took the tech to the truck and showed him the parts and then asked that they keep the old ones if they are not disintegrated for me to have a spare for the field.
Picked up the truck this AM and it was $500 for both of these jobs. They also did not save the old T's. Scary when the dealer does not really know the procedures I requested? Isnt that why I am supposed to feel confident about paying the high cost of service.
Anyway, my independent garage that has usually worked on the truck did not know how to service the AHC, so hopefully this bought me a few more years of trouble free use.
Any other place in Denver that you can recommend? Slee added a bumper and lights, but did not want to mess with the AHC, other than to remove it.
Best,
Todd

I've had good luck with Toy Auto in Littleton. Scott is really responsive and has been good to work with. I don't have AHC on the TLC or GX so I've never had to deal with that. They are definitely worth a try in my opinion.Bit the bullet and took my 2007 100 series to Stevinson Toyota west to have the AHC system drained and refilled and have the heater Ts replaced, as preventative maintenance on the truck that has 117K miles on it.

I use these extra large "re-usable" rubber Zip ties that I got off ebay (Walmart also carries them). I think they are like 14 inches long and about $7 a pair. Edit: picture of the rubber zip ties like the ones I use-That's exactly what I was planning on doing. What are you using to keep the sway bar out of the way when disconnected?
