Definitely more room than I have- What size tires are you running?

Are your SPC ball joint caster settings on "A" or "B"?
275/70-18

IIRC 'B' because with my set up we had to limit caster to keep camber in spec. If I decide to lower my set up I can get more caster if desired. Its all too early I need to get some highway testing miles on it before I change/adjust anything. Im OCD on this kinda stuff.....

Finally installed SPC UCA on our LX470. Now rolling with 4.5° caster measured, the maximum obtainable with a ride height of 20.5" center of hub to fender well. Feels like a totally different LX470 in a good way.:D
After the spc UCA install you said your front ride height changed or increased 1". Did the height settle back to the 20.5" after you cycled the suspension??

I was wondering if the new Ahc sensor attachment bracket and the new alignment angle could have changed the height position???

As you may know getting ride height perfect is not super easy and it takes some set it and drive and rechecking. It cant be done without those steps to get precision accuracy. The tech that helped me on the alignment side did not have the OCD experience with AHC that many of us have.

New shoes arrived...also discovered what that "pop" was yesterday.

This lil' gadget is a gem..Old broken key fob replaced. 15 minute job (while watching thursday night footy) > bulk of it was stripping the metal part of the old key off it's plastic housing.

Tested this by gripping it in a vice and performing multiple twists within reason and it held up solid. Thanks @suprarx7nut

Sold my LX 4 months ago for a gas friendly car. Biggest mistake of my life thus far. Been trying to undo said mistake without running to financial ruin.

Anyway, found a 2000 VX Turbo Diesel with 39'000kms. That's 24k original miles. Triple factory Locked.

Needs a good tidy up as has been in a car port but the interior is still new and it drives like a brand new truck.

Also need to ditch the stupid wheels.

Yes, I'm an Aussie member. Sorry you guys don't get diesels, although to be fair the 4.7 is so much smoother to drive and gas is cheap in the states, that said this is more economical than I could have believed.

Will post photos when it's waxed and gleaming.

Triple Factory locked?! that's a nice option we don't get!

It would be nice but there is no such thing as a triple factory locked IFS 100.

He's in the Land Down Under. They have different options down there. Not sure if that makes a difference. But, they do get the diesel option which we don't :(

I'll post some photos soon but went from stock Michelin LTXs to 285/75 16 Falken Wildpeaks. Figured I'd try out their new design and see what I think.

Was between these KO2s and STTs. Looking forward to seeing how these hold up.

It's a 101 series originally from Japan. It's a bit strange. It also has no sub tank and a factory toilet, stove and blinds in the back. A rear ladder and swing out tyre arm. Head light washers and that weird front mirror. This is Australia, We had a bevy of weird options available to us down here, including with special editions like 10+ variants of the 100. GX, GXL, GXV, VX, Sahara, Kakadu, Snowy, Altitude, 50th anniversary, et-cetera. But unless it's an aftermarket job that has used a 70 series oem switch then i'd be surprised. Who knows.

By the way, we also have the 105 series in Australia, not sure if you've heard of them. 3 lockers was a very rare option. I've seen some GXV's with it. We had double locked LX470's too, in the original run before the 5 speed update. Not sure if you guys got them?

Yeah similar, different cladding, headlight washers. They could be twins. Very similar wheels!

JAOS Victron Ziga, same exact wheels =) Wish I had all those other options though!

These are a bit oxidized, would like to change them to Aus spec Sahara wheels with 33" Grabber AT2's. Your rig looks so good. Your wheels are in way better shape.

If they were in better shape, they're not anymore! A couple ninja rocks hiding behind trail-side bushes tagged each of my rears' outers on my last outing. One has a slow leak, the other still holds air. Luckily I was recently able to score another set in Japan with the same size/offset. Gotta swap out the barrels and then I'll eventually send these to OMF and get them beadlocked.

I'd like to see pictures when you have a chance please :)

And now, onto the rear, got some LEDs to update the look of the cruiser.

Can you give a little color on this mod? Like where you got tail lights, any thing like relays needed or just bolt up!
