Took the 100 to Mexico for a Gulf of California Thanksgiving. Such a beautiful place filled with wonderful people.

great pics - is that a jack russell or jack russell mix? And the dog buried in the sand must be the calmest dog ever :)

Thanks!

She is a friend's dog. I believe terrier/pitbull mix.

Zane, the one buried, is a goofball. He's super hyper in spurts then is super calm and will let you do whatever you want to him.

Did a 6 day trip to Baja last week with @perrobravo and @Dan2722. Fun times by the beach and navigating our ways around. @benc - Both bumpers did great.

Well, the local auto car wash exposed/caused some paint damage. You know those little pin head sized rust spots on the surface of the paint? Typically caused by waxing over brake dust? It looks kind of like this...

Well, I ran my 100 through the carwash a few times and started to notice this developing. With winter coming up, I was like "hell naw!!!" I tried claybar, but that did not get it, so I spent about a week researching and found the best detail shop in Cincinnati. Ordinarily, I would just do it myself, but lack of time, most of my stuff is in storage due to transitioning between houses, etc... I decided to bite the bullet and have it done for me by a pro. I just picked Snowball up a few hours ago after two days with the guy, and holy hell, this guy did a FANTASTIC job. Did a full compound, neutralizer, sealant and two coats of wax. Nice and sealed up for the winter:bounce:

I'll get pics of the results when the sun comes up in the morning. Sorry for the tease... :doh:

I changed my rear brakes last night. I rebuilt the calipers. Installed brand new rotors and ceramic 'OE grade' pads by Duralast. At this very moment I am in the middle of flushing the brake and power steering fluid. I have had my LC100 for about four months and the only liquids or fluids that have not been changed now are the coolant and the ATF. Front diff, rear diff, transfer case, engine oil, washer fluid (it was empty so I took out the tank to flush out sediment), blinker fluid, all done. The coolant system was flushed one year ago by the PO. So I will change the coolant in the Spring. According to the service records the transmission was serviced in 2013. So I sent off an ATF sample to Blackstone to see what condition that was in. If that needs changing I will do that ASAP. I have a 5 gallon bucket from Home Depot, after today it will be full of used fluids from this truck. I did not take any pics because my 9 year old helper was busy with school work last night and at school today. But I will try to post some nude pics that my very hot ex sent me, to make up for it later.

Edit: Just for fun I called the local Toyota Dealership and asked them how much they would charge to perform all of the services that I performed yesterday and today.
The power steering and brake flush were on 'Special' $89.99 each.
(My cost was about $40 for both)
Rear brakes with 'brand new' pads, rotors and calipers etc $1355! I was told that if I paid for front and rear brake replacement, the flush would be gratis.
(I spent about $290 including tax)

Total= $1535
Spent= $330
Saved= $1205!

The only local Indy that I trust would have charged me $825 total for all the above including all new parts, except calipers, which were listed as re manufactured.

Total= $825
Spent= $330
Saved= $495!

Very satisfying feeling to save this much money.

TB/WP, tensioner, bearings, serp belt, heater t's, radiator, new (used) springs in the back, and oil change. Oh, and alpine speakers all around, alpine amp, and jl sub.

I'll worry about my bank account next week :clap::ban::doh:

Brought her replacement home. Didn't realize how sad I would be about parting ways with 100 but I'm sure it will bring some other family many memories also.

Now to start parts shopping all over again.

Looks like you drove your Supra to pick it up, or should I say stole?

That is one supper clean looking Mercury Metallic 200 series, and just barely broken in. I can't even see much in the way of rock chips, from AZ perhaps. Looks like a few Leatherique treatments and it's showroom ready...WOW. Gives you the power you wanted without all the work. I'm so happy for you my friend!

I saw a dark silver 200 all Slee'd-out at Slee this summer, it looked unbelievable great.;)
What are you dreaming of for this one?

Thanks, pic was when I met him to look at it the first time, got a ride and picked it up the next day. Local car but has clear bra on the full front and about 1/3 way up the hood so not o many chips. Yes this was definitely easier than my turbo plans for the 100.

If it was a silver tricked out LX570 you saw at Slee I believe that is his personal one and used for development. As for plans, immediate are a set of extra rock warriors i had been hoarding and then hopefully a bumper and roof rack before camping season comes around but first got to clean up the 100 and list her for sale.
