Put her to work, make her earn that thirsty appetite.

I installed some new 'Superbump' bump stops by Wheeler Off-road . On our lower control arms you need two pairs of these, but I chose to just install one per side (on the front position) to soften up the impact a little. I love the results. Since I still have the OEM bump stops in the 'rear' position, It won't over compress up into the wheel well. I like many was a little hesitant to completely remove the factory bump stops in fear of over stressing the axles etc. I could have gone with the Wheeler spaces, but I think my way works as good or better. Took it up to Rowher OHV area about 45 minutes from my house to test the bump stops out. They feel great. Very noticeable improvement. Also found a nice mud pit and some fresh mud puddles to play in. My wheels look like I painted them brown :). Downside to the trip was that I broke a rear Rancho RS9000XL shock that is only 2 months old . No pics or info on that yet. I am going to take it off tomorrow and see what happened, then contact Rancho about a replacement. It looks like it snapped just below the threads . Anybody else have this happen? Everything else on my suspension is fine. Shocks are the correct models. My LC100 chassis is stock height with healthy adjacent components. Oh well. s*** happens. What part number/model of superbump fits the 100? The video showing suspension compression looks like it occurs over a longer distance. Therefore a softer bottoming out.

That's awesome looking. Currently with the roof top tent on my LC, I find myself stepping on that to adjust one side of the tent (opening/closing). I'd have to put some non-skid tape on it.

Also plano,

Not sure how much you weigh but don't put to much weight on the tailgate stock, I noticed after installing this thing the tailgate gives to weight very easy line wasn't straight at the top. After installing this lid its like closing a vault when you shut the tailgate, heavy too. I can now stand on it and there is no give, however I will have to upgrade the gate cables for sure, the stock ones seem to be at capacity after putting this thing on. Looking for beffy cables now (14") and hope to find shock or easy tailgate spring so it doesn't slam down.

Looking at something like this:

The part number is for a 2007-2009 FJ Cruiser. Part number directly from my invoice: 'WHE 01SUPERBUMPKIT'. Other users on Mud turned me on to these in lieu of the very pricey Timbren alternatives.

I applied sufficient washboard to "turn-off" the green D light on the dash...

Installed PIAA Xtreme White Plus
9006 low beams
These things are extremely white
Next to it is the side marker 168 bulb - Sylvania SilverStar. Not even close to the white the PIAA puts out.

Not lifted yet. ;). 265 General AT2's right now. When these are are worn down I'll get 285 or 295s. Here are some side views.

Bro those look great.

I can't believe I though they would stick out to far! Heck no they don't.

Honestly they might be the perfect wheel upgrade next year for me as I have SE flares on mine and with my mileage and age I don't want to remove them.

They are going to look even better with 285s on them!

Installed my new Gamiviti rack!

Or rather, installed 5/6ths of it... there's always ONE bolt in every project, and this one was literally the final one. Even snapped an easy-out in the remnants of that bolt, so now I will be reduced to systematically carving apart this bracket (so much for giving away the OEM rack) until I can get to it and figure out a way to remove it...

And of course, had to take the rack for a test run by loading the family Christmas Tree on it;)

That looks awfully familiar! We had the same issue on my son's LC. We ended up cutting a chunk of the vertical plastic away with a large set of wire cutters, then drilled/extracted the screw with a "Speed Out" extractor from Lowe's. (We also ended up having to replace the threads in the roof with a "Rivnut").

That's way too much labour for the water pump with timing belt. Labour overlap. In my shop I charge an extra hour on top of the belt. Perhaps ask them?
Ohhh yes I am well aware they screwed me on the labor hours and it should be no where near that amount. Labor overlap should definitely be applied and maybe if I went this route I could talk them into it. But that's why I just folded up the quote and walked out of the dealership with a smile on my face:) I expected nothing less from them though

What did you use for cleaning?
