Lx470 - Full timing belt service, AHC sensor lift, Spare tire lift... Tomorrow, CB Antenna and cabling, Heater Hose T's, Thursday, Oil change and brakes. Busy, mainly trying to base line everything and add in a few upgrades where possible.
Any other shots of the front end of your truck? Looks really good...

Haha, was just in Stamford not too long ago, my mom lives about 20 miles north of there in Schoharie County and I took a road trip down there for a day. Plus, my family used to do a lot of skiing over at the old Scotch Valley ski resort, which is today no more unfortunately.

In other news, got to try out my new Nokians today, we got snow, not a lot, but enough to give some people problems.

I used to run a competitive trail ride there (horses, not trucks). You could either do 25 or 50 miles. If my horse could've cursed, staring bleakly up that ski slope knowing that's where I was pointing her, I would've heard an earful.

We camp just on the other side of the mountain, on Headwaters Trails land. Talk to Doug by going to Headwaterstrailsny.org to hike, camp, or mountain bike there.

I got one!!!

Found a very nice 2007 with 113k, one owner with no accidents, lots of love, excellent Carfax. Now I have my very own Cruiser and my husband has his. I am so glad to be out of my 4Runner, even tho I loved that too. Damn Cruisers get in your blood.

We are lifting his 2002 and I am going to see if I can abide just using the AHC on mine when I need it, but am already reading up on the Slee override. Mine will get a Gobi, sliders, tires. 285 General Grabbers on Thursday. Love planning...View attachment 1183075 View attachment 1183079

Even with several fellow mudder's donating sometime to get shipping quotes for their old bumper covers, both options were far more than I was willing to pay at this time. So I harbor freight'd myself one of their 12 ton pipe benders for Christmas. Had some 2x2" steel laying around and picked up some tubing and made this over the past week. Not as "pretty" as some options out there. But for less than a $100. I had previously built the winch channel and fitted the bumper piece to weld off the existing mounts.

Accidentally got the license plate kind of crooked... This area I'm in right here was just under water that was 3' over the cruiser two days ago.

@bwell, diggin' the DIY spirit! Did you make the sliders?
(I wanted to see that bumper better... dialed up the detail)

@Manhattan yes, made the sliders last year, well worth the $100 there also, that was originally what the 2x2 boxed steel was left over from (supports going from 2x4 to frame). They have saved me multiple times since they've been on. Honestly the :princess: didn't like the sliders, so I'm going to put a kick out on them, which is what she thought the tubing was for originally ;)! I was putting her too work last week when I bugger'd up the bumper cover the rest of the way driving through stuff I shouldn't have been in an old forestry top out area. I also moved the winch control box before I lined up a new bumper cover.

Long time stalker, first time poster! Recently bought my first, a 2000 with 125k. Got some base lining done, still need to do diffs/trans/transfer. Installed Duratracs the second day on Tundra steelies (had chrome 20's before). Also replaced the stereo, which had started to regurgitate CD's. I replaced it with a 1996 classic Alpine CDA-7832...sounds amazing! Old technology for the win. Matches the dash too.

Now I just need to find a LabRak mount so I can get my weatherband working.
