So much for Toyota quality. Was able to file most of it out prior to install.

This week I got my BFG KO2's rotated, changed the oil, and added an Optima Red Top battery. While I know they are not as good as they used to be, Optima still makes a quality battery.

Replaced the drivers side rear (B1S2) Oxygen sensor with Denso 234-4260 @ 126k kms / 79k miles. A little early for an O2 sensor to go out, but I'll attribute it to the northern climate (if for no reason other than to make myself feel better).

Is B1S2 the code it threw?

The truck threw P0137, which aligns with B1S2. I used Techstream to check the codes and to clear them. Annoyingly, with that code active some portion of traction control (I can't recall which) was disabled. Not a desirable condition in a northern Albertan winter.

I haven't driven it yet to verify that the problem is solved, but the code didn't immediately return after clearing.

This week I got a synthetic oil change, balanced and rotated the KO2s, got an Optima Red Top, and later today picking up a 3rd row seat. While I really do not need it, for completions sake, figured it would be nice to have.

Monday I am getting the windshield replaced which I am gutted about as I am not going to be using an OEM as it would have been $1300. Guessing the aftermarket one does not have UV rejection.

Water pump inlet.

Every have any cooling issues before de-burring, what year is that from?

Seems strange traction control be effected, could it be secondary issue unrelated to O2.

I had my windshield replaced by Abra (who the local Toyota dealership uses for glass) and it's every bit as good as the OEM, imo. I even had the choice of tint color based on my OEM tint. Very happy with the results.

I saw in another thread SafeLight has a lifetime warranty on installation? $300...

I had abra did mine in Denver. They did an amazing job. I had safelight do the one before me they left out few rivets, used non EME trim, and did completely crappy job.

It was brand new, out of the box OEM replacement pump installed during 90K.

Not cool... I would want to send it back, but you probably needed the part right then...

Yep. Didn't anticipate needing to inspect internals of OEM parts before starting the tear-down. Original pump was weeping, so wasn't inclined to put that back on. I got 90% of it out with a hand file. Didn't want to create a could of fine particles from a grinder that could work into water pump bearing and cause premature failure. Flushed it clean in the sink before installing.
