I basically just work on it for a few minutes here and there. So it's slowww going but progress is progress. Almost ready for paint.

Battled my AHC suspension for a week as it would not rise to the occasion. Tried everything with the help of the AHC Mud experts. Nothing worked until I simply replaced the two small O-rings in the pump. Then it came to life and works perfectly.

So if your AHC will not hold pressure and get a 1762 code…. Don’t overlook changing o-rings.

Tinted my fog lights.

I've owned my LC for about 5 years now and I don't know why, but I always thought the OEM cup holder insert thing was some uber rare, elusive and expensive replacement.

Turns out they are on Amazon Prime for $10 and will be here next day by 10 PM. Will try it out and see how it works.

Replaced the DS seat foam and leather (1998-2007 Toyota Land Cruiser Front Seat Bottom Upholstery Cover (Factory Colors: Toyota Medium Grey Driver side bottom) - https://hotrodupholstery.com/products/ols/products/toyota-land-cruiser-drivers-seat-bottom-1998-2004-genuine-leather-oe/v/TYT-LND-CRS-DRV-TYT-MDM4), great fit and finish! Upon removal, it became clear that someone had attempted this (poorly) prior to my ownership replete with zip ties and loose hog rings. Color is a bit lighter than the more aged components, but will darken up with exposure to sweat, coffee, dirt etc.

Swapped over to a quadlock phone mount and charger w/ vibration dampener, seems to work well from a few preliminary drives. We'll see how it holds up on dirt and washboards. Swapped in new LED bulbs for the burnt out seat heater switches and PWR/2nd. Couldn't quite get the antenna switch and CDL lights to work with LEDs, I'll keep messing with them.
How was replacing the cover? My seats dont look bad, but they're torn in the center and i've tried stitching together and it does not hold.

Not bad at all, I over-thought the hog ring placement initially but they really are just a clamp and go operation once the cover is centered.

These videos by the guy that made the particular cover I used were quite helpful, applicable regardless of the cover source:

Moved the Thule Motion XT XL roof box from my 200 to the LX470 and removed the third row seats. I’ll be driving my visiting relatives to the airport tomorrow and we need the extra space for their luggage.

PM? or was it going out? Just looking for symptoms of a fuel pump going south.
FP completely died. About 6 weeks ago I noticed some small intermittent hesitation at highway speeds with the throttle engaged. Only happened on that one weekend trip, then didn't happen driving around town. Then 2 days before it died I noticed some small hesitations with throttle engaged again, this time at slower speeds. Still started up fine though. Finally went to the store for dog food and came back out and it wouldn't start.

Checked fuses and relays first to be sure, but I was already pretty sure it was the FP. I changed the fuel filter at the beginning of the summer as PM, so figured no issue there.

Good guess. Small 96 pound (dressed) 6 point whitetail. A buddy of mine drove by with an empty trailer while I was waiting for the sheriff to show up. Fresh venison for dinner this week.

I’ll have to see what the insurance company says. Zero rust on the body and only a bit of surface rust on the frame. I’ve done good at keeping it coated so hopefully they give me an accurate replacement price if it’s totaled.
