Howdy all! Long time off-roader, new 80 owner here, and first time poster in this thread. This weekend I added 30m MAF front coil spacers, did the auto up drivers window mod, replaced the high pressure power steering hose, and cleaned all the mud out of my passenger front break rotor (from the previous owner.) Here is my locked Moonglow Pearl '97 on 285 Duratracks with the front bumper I just finished.

Pile of dirt from the break rotor, had to use a cordless with an old drill bit to clean it all out.

Damn that looks good! Ditch the flavor savor though. Moonglow is only second to Sage in my book. Nice fab skills on the bumper too.

Removed my front bumper and posted it up For Sale in the classified :)

Thanks. Holes were cut in the hood for the vents. The black out is for glare reduction and it works. There has been no increase in under hood temps that I can tell because of it.

What vents did you put in?

Not this weekend, but today I told myself, "Self, you know all those old hoses and original radiator you were planning on replacing this spring? Why not do them now, and while I'm at it, let's have your new to you Land Cruiser pee all over the garage to reinforce that new fact o' life".

What I saw when I removed the skid plate on the passenger side

Driver's side. I don't think it's wicking over; I think I just bought a new radiator.

Damn. I was hoping I wouldn't have to do this job in the cold.

I had a little fun this weekend-installed a new stereo head unit ( the PO had installed a rather hideous thing), and while I was there, installed a CDL switch and did the pin #7 mod

As both procedures are well documented, no pictures were taken.

Drew,

You have the later aluminum and plastic radiator, if you are replacing it call Beno and get the all metal radiator, by all accounts it is a better quality unit. Looks like the aluminum came about to cut costs and weight. Good luck not a huge project just takes a little time.

I somewhat feel your pain. When I had to do mine it was in the Texas summer heat. Now I live in Iowa and the bottom inlet hose started leaking. Had to replace it yesterday. I thought there was no way it could be worse than working on it in 110 degrees. I was wrong...
