I am hoping this gets me leak free.
The only time a 3FE is leak free is when it's leaving the factory.Yeah I am seeing that. I can hope for a day or two here and there. Dreams !The only time a 3FE is leak free is when it's leaving the factory.
I'm going to guess if the pulley rotates with great resistance, I messed up somewhereIf the clutch is not engaged then just the pulley wheel will rotate, with very minimal effort. If you are able to engage the clutch without the belt fitted, there will be significantly more resistance.

I have that same unit. It's really good but my power button doesn't work anymore. I can't turn it off but it's connected to ACC so when the key is off the radio is off...In a 2000 Honda Accord. Other than that it's great. Finally decided to replace the old kenwood unit with a double din with android play etc. Need to run the rear camera to the rear... Also need to figure out where to put a front camera for negotiating obstacles when out on my lonesome. For <$150 it was a good upgrade and specifically got one with a physical volume control.
Also traded out my 100AH lifepo4 with a bluetooth capable unit. Between the victron dc:dc charger (with bluetooth) and now the battery, I have pretty decent visibility into what is going on when charging/discharging. All my camping loads (multiple outlets in the vehicle) all feed from the lifepo4.
cheers,
george.
