My wife had to drag me out of there before Cruiser Dan called the police - I was fondling too many of the vehicles. Apparently my groaning offended a few of the patrons...

Pulled the old Slees from I think 06, and replaced with some Delta 5L, should have compared the two length but I didn’t, Delta do seem hair longer. Install was pretty easy took an hr, used a ratchet strap to hold the axle tight and did one side at a time.

Why ?
What is the main difference between the two ?
Old ones were 19 years old.Bushings were shot didn’t feel like changing them out, wanted to try something else. Making nosies and you could tell bushings were bad, wheeling the truck was loud if that makes sense. the Slee anrms are thicker, they are the width of the bushing, where the delta are thinner. Not sure it will make any difference or not. Delta were slightly longer than the Slee, but these are the old Slee arms. His newest arms i believe have more castor. Was going to try the hyper flex, but order the delta instead.

Got most of my new prinsu rack installed yesterday...need to put the rest of cross bars on and debating whether to put on the front wind fairing ... Thinking what's the point ? Just pushes more air ... Any reason why it's a benefit ? To any one else with a prinsu !

I ended up putting the front fairing/ windscreen on to finish it ! The only gripe I have with the rack was the zero instructions and having to just figure it out... But That's ok too I suppose

ordered up new window runs and a transmission/throttle cable from partsouq.
The tranny shop that rebuilt mine did so with an aftermarket part.

I replaced both u-joints on my front shaft, which solved a clunk but not the godforsaken squeak I've been chasing for months. It sounds like brake or bearing squeaks between 10 and 14mph, and it even stops when I brake, so I pulled all four calipers, removed any stuck rocks, and regreased everything. I repacked the front wheel bearings. I once thought it was coming from the front, but I'm no longer sure that's the case. I think it actually tends to make the noise on uphill runs.

I put it on stands to spin the wheels, and even ran it at 10mph off the ground, but it won't make the noise unloaded. What can I do to narrow down where this is coming from? I thought about taping a cell phone to the diffs and the t-case, but I don't think that will tell me anything more than I already know.

Was a blast. 😎

Replaced LR window run (3 down, 1 to go), and chased down a loose connection in the power window wiring causing that window to stop working intermittently. Turned out to be a slightly loose connection to the motor itself (after market motor with adapter harness). Used zip ties to pull the connection in tight and keep it there.

Cleaned contacts on all reachable external transmission connectors in the hopes it might keep me from having to replace solenoids. No love. Transmission (A442F) has stopped shifting automatically, but shifts smoothly manually and doesn't seem to have any other issues. Searches on MUD and elsewhere suggest one or more of the solenoids. If anyone has any other suggestions, feel free chime in.

My last off road on 6 days with the " club double pont". My new winch on rear bar kaymar.

Thank you Stef HDJ80 nc for sharing your video of 4 wheeling in New Caledonia with us!

Let us know what driveshaft, phase orientation, and top speed in 4x4 w/o vibes you get.

I'm on 3s but would like to jump to 5s to track a bit straighter on the interstate.
