have you checked your fusable link off the battery?
The previous owner replaced it. I followed a diagnostic procedure that I found here. The CEL comes on when the key is on, so that the fusible link is good. I jumped pin 1 and 8 on the diagnostic port and it still won't start. I haven't ruled out clogged fuel lines/fuel filter/bad AFM. The fuse blowing is why I decided to check the wires. It has a rebuilt title, so there's a chance that whoever rebuilt it knew how to repair body work, but not electrical. The relay block under the kick panel was just dangling there and the nuts that held it there were missing, so that was another indicator to me.

It is a 3FE, which I knew, and he does have "1992 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ80" in his sig. I don't know the harness routing on the 3FE, but I pointed out there is a routing issue on the 1FZ-FE.
My bad I don’t see that on my phone unless I tune it sideways

Got some goodies from Japan

First world problems, but this was one of the thing that was annoying me the most, very happy with it now!

I had the same issue with #6. It was because the heater control valve was leaking on it.
I'm sure the heat from the EGR pipe right there didn't help the longevity of that particular plug...that, and some fluids...

I've been lurking since I bought my Land Cruiser in October. I have replaced the fuel pump and cleaned out the gas tank. Trying to figure out why it won't start. I jumped the EFI relay with some wire, and I had 12v at the fuel pump. I tried to start it and it blew the EFI fuse, which had a 20A fuse instead of 15A. I also found a bunch of fuses in the glovebox, so that's a pretty good hint that it's an ongoing problem.
I went hunting for a short and found more things that need fixed (cracked hoses, broken rusty check valve). I need to get some vinyl wiring harness tape and start rewrapping what I have unraveled.

There is a wiring bundle beneath and slightly rear of the EGR valve (rusty part) that can get hot and melt. My re-wrap and heat shield are in the picture here. Might want to take a look.

Negative. The other -FT I am finishing building was running recycled oils and was toast.
I think I’ve seen that 80. It had a gross weight of 9000+ lb. With all the oil tanks, filters, heaters etc.

I am “about to” put new window regulators on my 93.

On break from work.

Pulled the starter on my wife's 80 and put in a new oem one. Pulled the neutral position switch as well and installed a new one. The worst of it was finding the neutral sensor pigtail... tucked right up behind the starter. Beyond that, just slow and steady. Going through the FSM tomorrow making sure that I've got everything to spec. Pretty good day on the whole.

Cheers, fellers.

:flipoff2:

My final package (for now) arrived!
Now that the family doubled in size, the gazelle tent no longer fit inside the truck, so up it goes!

I had a quick break from the kids so I was rushing to get it install
Once I was done I realized it looks like I mounted it too far back, but once again, this will be a next Monday problem.
