I have both on the way for mine...I'll let you know how it works out! Should have here within a week or so...and yes, correct on the extra jumper for the flash when lock feature. Is it worth getting the indicator flashing loom option? I guess that makes your exterior indicator lights blink when you lock/unlock?
Many of us ditched our mud guards when we installed our rear swing outs.....i could've given you mine. (Somewhere in storage)
Yeah exactly, there are indicator outputs on the unit installed inside the armrest that can be connected to the LH/RH side indicators with the optional loom. Not sure though if that loom is PnP as well by adapting to a factory connector. Personally I didnt want to deal with installing extra wires through the door grommet and potentially hacking up the main instrument harness but it would be a cool feature to have.Is it worth getting the indicator flashing loom option? More info on these please!
Make sure you measure draw before and after. I had the only the lock/unlock unit and it was draining my battery after a few days. Wound up pulling it out and magically all of my problems disappeared.I have both on the way for mine...I'll let you know how it works out! Maybe buy something cheap 1st to test the transaction. There’s a guy on IG that requested to follow me; Mathew_cruiser that has parts to sell. Anyone know if he’s legit and on this forum or is he another IG scammer?

I do really like the look of the stock flaps on the 80...mine is with flares and no running boards, so very clean. That said, after bending a couple inside out, I shaved them down. Last trip out, a rock got up between the slider and tire and completely ripped my passenger one off. Bummer because I really do like the look with them! Now I need to get the White Knuckles that are longer since the flaps are gone...These are fronts on my pavement princess 80.

Fortunately @Outsane makes some great caps to clean up the bottom of the flares after removing the flaps.
Love your truck, keep the pics coming, and glad that you got your PS issue sorted!
Good info, thanks for the heads up on these potential issues!Make sure you measure draw before and after. I had the only the lock/unlock unit and it was draining my battery after a few days. Wound up pulling it out and magically all of my problems disappeared.
One “feature” he doesn’t mention is that you can no longer use your door switches to lock the vehicle. If you do, his unit winds up being out of phase and you have to use your key to open before you can use the keyfob again. All in all, it’s a good idea but execution is piss poor.
